Two charts or one: Love Compatibility and Love Outlook, compared

Two readings, two different questions

Love Compatibility (感情合盤) is a written reading for two people. The report speaks only about the relationship: its nature, its frictions and its timing. It is not a score and not a verdict, and no individual chart is created for either person. Both of you enter your own birth records, and the reading is currently estimated within seventy-two hours after both records are complete. This is the reading to book when the question has a name and a face: whether to deepen, repair, define or release something that already exists between you.

Love Outlook (感情運勢) is a multi-year reading of your own romantic outlook, written by Song Jushi,: where affection flows, where it strains, how the timing develops, and what you can practically do about it. The current estimate is delivery within forty-eight hours of a complete intake. It belongs to the questions that are yours alone: what kind of person suits you, when and where you are likely to meet them, what keeps going wrong, or when you can begin again. It is not a compatibility report for two private birth records.

What each one asks of you

Love Outlook asks four things before checkout: where you are in your love life; what you most want from the reading; who you hope to meet; and one line on the situation. After payment, the private intake has you confirm the exact name, date, time and place of birth used for your chart, then write the story in up to two thousand characters: the important relationships, where things stand now, and the one thing you cannot let go of. There is also room for another person’s date of birth and a short label, if someone is directly involved.

Love Compatibility has no questions before checkout. After purchase, the intake asks for your main question or background, kept concise and specific, and for your delivery channel. You provide your own details; the other person enters theirs through a private link rather than you speaking for both. Neither of you is shown the other’s birth details, and the reading is prepared once both records are complete. The second record is half the material, which is why the estimate counts from the moment both records are in rather than from payment.

How the second person’s details are handled

The other person must consent and provide their own details. They receive a private invitation link after purchase, enter their own birth record, and may revise what they submitted once before the reading is prepared. Neither person is shown the other’s birth details, no individual chart is created for either of you, and each person’s details are used solely for this reading. What comes back is one shared written interpretation of the relationship, and it grants no access to either person’s full chart.

Two limits follow. A compatibility order is not opened for a relationship that has not begun; if the person is someone you hope to meet rather than someone you know, Love Outlook holds that question. And because the estimate runs from the moment both records are complete, the timing is partly in the other person’s hands. A reading built on two honest records is worth the wait; one built on a guess at someone else’s birth time is not worth having.

What a compatibility reading compares

It starts from the Ba Zi chart, the eight characters (八字) of the year, month, day and hour of birth, each a heavenly stem over an earthly branch. The day pillar’s stem is the Day Master, and every other stem is named by its relationship to it through the five phases (五行), which produce and control one another in a fixed order: wood feeds fire, wood controls earth. The first comparison is how the two Day Masters relate: whether one feeds the other, controls it, or shares its phase. Then element balance across both charts: whether one person carries what the other lacks, or both lean the same way, doubling a strength and a blind spot.

The Ten Gods name the roles. Another person’s Day Master, set against yours, is the phase that supports you, the one you produce, the one you control, the one that disciplines you, or your own kind; the wealth and officer stars, what you control and what controls you, are also the traditional spouse stars. The day branch is the spouse palace, so how the two day branches meet matters: branches combine, clash, harm or punish. Finally, the ten-year luck pillars and the current year are read against the relationship, to see when a commitment, a strain or a decision is likely to press. None of this produces a percentage, only a description of the pattern two people make together.

What the report will not do

A difficult match does not mean the relationship must end. The reading describes patterns and pressure points; consent, communication, circumstance and the decision to continue remain yours. It does not promise a particular outcome, and like every reading at Sage Song it is offered in good faith for reflection: it is not medical, legal or financial advice. If what you need is a verdict, this is the wrong purchase. If what you need is to see the pattern you two keep making, with its timing, it is the right one.

The reading arrives as an encrypted PDF behind a secure link, with a notice through the channel chosen on the intake; the PDF itself is not sent through WhatsApp. The password is the date of birth specified for that report, typed as eight digits in YYYYMMDD order. One boundary remains. Love Compatibility is for a relationship between two people.
