Palm reading by photograph: send hands we can actually read

A palm reading at Sage Song is written from photographs of both your open hands, read together rather than line by line. This guide sets out what the private intake asks for, how to photograph a palm so the lines survive the camera, what the written reading covers and will not cover, and how the finished report reaches you as an encrypted PDF.

What arrives, and when

You receive a written palm reading prepared by Song Jushi (宋居士), a teacher with more than 47 years of practice, from the photographs you submit. Before checkout you say where it should look most closely: love, career and wealth, health, talents, or the whole pattern. It is not a line-by-line fortune. Both hands are read together, and what repeats across them carries more weight than one dramatic mark. The service page currently lists delivery within five days of a complete intake.

The report arrives as an encrypted PDF behind a secure link. The password is the date of birth you enter on the intake, typed as eight digits in YYYYMMDD order. You choose email or WhatsApp for that notice; the PDF itself is not sent through WhatsApp. This is the reading to book when you can feel a pattern in the way you work, attach, recover or carry pressure, but cannot yet put a name to it.

What the intake asks for, exactly

Three short questions come before payment: is the reading for a man or a woman, what should it look at most closely, and one line of up to eighty characters on what brings you here. After payment the private intake opens. It asks for two required photographs, one file each: your left palm open, and your right palm open. The help text beside each is the brief in one line: natural light, wrist to fingertips, palm filling two thirds of the frame.

Two further photographs are optional: a side view of the palm, and a closer shot of the fingers and mounts. Four images is the most the form will take. A note field of up to two hundred characters covers anything we should know about your hands, such as scars, injuries or recent changes. You finish by choosing the delivery channel and entering the date of birth that becomes the PDF password. These photographs are private working material held against your paid order, never public display content.

How to photograph a palm so it can be read

Treat what follows as advice rather than a form requirement: the intake itself insists only on natural light, the full hand and a palm that fills two thirds of the frame. Within that, light does most of the work. Stand near a window in soft daylight and keep direct sun off the hand, because a hard shadow erases the fine lines a reader needs. Open the hand naturally, fingers slightly apart, and let it rest flat.

Hold the camera directly above the palm and parallel to it, so wrist and fingertips sit the same distance from the lens; shooting at an angle shortens whichever end is further away. Keep the whole hand in the frame, take off rings and bracelets, use a plain background, and leave filters and beauty modes off, since they smooth away the texture a reader depends on. Check each picture at full size: you should be able to follow the main lines without squinting, and both hands should be shot the same way, in the same light.

What a palm reader is looking at

Palmistry, 手相 in Chinese, reads character and circumstance from the hand: its shape, the set of the fingers, the fullness of the mounts, and the lines. Three principal lines anchor most accounts. The life line curves around the base of the thumb and is read for vitality and the general course of a life, not for its length in years. The head line crosses the palm and speaks to how a person thinks and decides. The heart line runs beneath the fingers and is read for feeling and attachment. The mounts, the fleshy pads under the fingers and thumb, are weighed for fullness and proportion.

Then come the two hands together. Traditions differ on which hand shows the inborn pattern and which shows what has been lived, which is why both are required here: the contrast between the active and the non-active hand is part of the reading. At Sage Song the hands are read beside the birth date you give, and the written reading dwells on what holds across both hands rather than forcing a conclusion from one sign.

If the photographs cannot be read

If a palm cannot be read, we ask for retakes rather than guess from a blur. The supplement window is the house standard: fourteen days from our request, with a reminder forty-eight hours before the deadline. If workable photographs have not arrived by then, the order is cancelled and a full refund is initiated to the original payment method. We would rather return your money than work from material we cannot use.

The same rule applies before you upload anything. If no intake has been submitted thirty days after the order, we send one reminder; if it is still empty at ninety days, the order is cancelled and refunded in full. A refund being initiated is not the same as the money arriving; your bank and the payment provider control that timing. For an update, write to support with the order number and the email used to place it, and keep photographs and birth details inside the secure order or support area.

What this reading will not do

A palm reading here is a reflective practice. It does not diagnose illness, it does not determine lifespan, and it is not biometric identification. If you are worried about your health, see a doctor; the hand is not a substitute for one. It describes work style, emotional pattern and resilience as the hands show them now, and how a present chapter may differ from the life pattern on paper.

Like every reading at Sage Song, it is offered in good faith for reflection. It does not promise a particular outcome, and it is not medical, legal or financial advice; a decision that needs that kind of advice belongs with an appropriately qualified adviser. What it can do is put the pattern in your hands into words, from material you provided yourself. Send two clear palms and that is what comes back.

Common questions

Do I really need to photograph both hands?

Yes. The left and right open palms are the two required uploads, one file each. The difference between the hands is part of the traditional reading.

What happens if my photographs are too blurry to read?

We ask for retakes. You have fourteen days from the request, with a reminder forty-eight hours before the deadline; if nothing workable arrives, the order is cancelled and refunded in full.

Can a palm reading tell me about my health or how long I will live?

No. Palm symbolism is used here for personal reflection. It does not diagnose illness, determine lifespan or replace medical care.

How long does the palm reading take?

The service page currently lists delivery within five days of a complete intake, counted from when the photographs and details are submitted, not from payment.

What is my date of birth used for?

It sets the password on your encrypted PDF: type it as eight digits in YYYYMMDD order when you open the report from the secure link.
